I smelled antifreeze on my 2 month old used 2006 Jeep Cherokee. I looked under hood. It appears the transmission seal is leaking. Or transfer case. I have a warranty but really? I just got this vehicle.
I received the safety recall notice n23/NHTSA 13v-175 in the mail and called a local dealership to try to schedule a service appointment to have this corrected. The dealership is don white's timonium Chrysler Jeep Dodge located in cockeysville, MD. I called on the phone twice to attempt to schedule this service and was disconnected both times. Then, I proceeded to try and schedule an appointment online thru their live chat service and was told that I would be contacted by the service department to confirm my appointment, but I never was. I just thought someone should know the lack of professionalism I experienced and the message I received from this experience is, "we do not want to deal with your safety recall. " I have since scheduled an appointment at another local dealership.
