The contact owns a 2007 Jeep grand Cherokee. While driving 35 mph the engine stalled without warning. Within seconds, the vehicle would restart without driver intent. The dealer replaced the ignition switch, the power-train control module, and the electronic control module; yet, the failure persisted. The contact voluntarily surrendered the vehicle to the manufacturer. He was concerned that the vehicle would be resold since it could potentially cause a crash to occur. The failure mileage was 39,000 and the current mileage was unknown.
