Each time I have been driving the vehicle when the brakes failed without warning the last time (4th time) my car was in the shop because the tranmission seal had a leak. While the mechanic was test driving the car the brakes failed with him. When I have had been driving the Jeep and the brakes failed I was pulling into different locations and the brakes would fail and not stop the car. The brake were as hard as a rock and just simply would not stop the car. I feel after 4 times this car is not repairable and I am now mentally anquished with driving it I am afraid the brakes will fail again and I might get into an accident because of the brake issue and possibly get hurt, killed, kill someone else this is without a doubt a safety issue. The mechanic at the dealership has even said the car is not safe. I have a case number with the Chrysler manufacturer on the case. It is# 35139860.
