My car went dead while driving. Took to the shop and said there was a "software update/recall" that caused the car to use more oil than normal and I was driving with no oil!!!!! this "recall" update had been released "6 days ago" per my Dodge/Chrysler dealership. Why is this recall not here? sounds very strange to me.
Tl the contact owns a 2018 Jeep Cherokee. While the vehicle was stationary and while driving various speeds, the service shifter warning indicator illuminated. The contact stated that the parking symbol on the gear shift mechanism and all the lights on the gear shift mechanism illuminated. Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram fiat (607 enterprise parkway, breaux bridge, louisiana 70517, (337) 240-9947) diagnosed that the computer software malfunctioned. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage and VIN were unknown.
