Billion Chrysler, Jeep, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda (3401 west 41st, sioux falls, sd 57106, 605-361-1919) inspected the vehicle, but did not provide a cause for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000.
