Tl-the contact owns a safety 1st safety seat, model number: ic186csh, model type: alpha elite and manufactured in October 06, 2014. The contact stated that the safety seat was being utilized in a 2003 Jeep Commander (n/a). The contact stated the safety seat failed to lock inside the base on the left side. In addition, the contact stated that the right side lock of the safety seat failed to disengage. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The safety seat was not replaced.
