Two problems related to fuel delivery have been reported for the 2006 Jeep Commander. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle stalling.
When making hard turns my 2006 Jeep Commander will occasionally try to stall. Pressing the gas pedal down slowly, the engine acts like it is trying to stall, and speed does not increase. My example & definition of a hard turn: you're a car or two from a red light. Light turns green, you accelerate 20 feet or so and make a 90 degree turn. Happens on average at least once a month. Dealer says they "are aware of problems, but have no fix from Jeep". Have heard this for a year.
