general problems of the 2008 Jeep Commander

Vehicle drops from 70 mph to 30 mph unexpectedly and frequently. Unable to get out of first gear. Adding 1 quart transmission fluid lasts for a few days. No leaks seen by 3 mechanics.

The contact owns a 2008 Jeep Commander. While driving above 40 mph, the speed suddenly reduced and the check engine warning sensor remained illuminated. In addition, the front driver's seat would erroneously change positions while operating the vehicle. The failures were not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 150,000.

The third row seat is stuck in the up position eliminating 50% of my view. The third row seat is never used by me and is now not functioning at all and stuck in the up position due to a factory defect.

I was also charged $109. 78 for a diagnostic. I would like to have the seat fixed as soon as possible this is my families sole means of transportation. I have small children that require safety seats in that place.
