This morning the car would not start at all. Battery is 100%. All lights come on, everything else works fine but engine will not start. Vehicle is in excellent condition very low mileage. If this would have happened out in the bush we would be in serious trouble. Chatter on most of the Jeep forums confirms multiple no start issues across the Jeep product line.
Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Jeep Commander. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 mph, the vehicle hesitated in engine power. The contact mentioned that water entered the vehicle causing the floorboard to become wet. As a result, there was a mildew odor and water stains. The vehicle recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 78,000. Djr.
I pulled out of a gas station after filling up my tank and was trying to make a right turn and my truck completely shut down, no warning lights came on and I was unable to steer. The truck rolled across 2 lanes of traffic, resting on the concrete divider of the street. I was able to put the truck into park and restart it. I have taken the truck to 2 dealerships and they have been unable to diagnose the issue. I have also contacted Jeep and worked with a case manager with the company and they have been unable to help me.
