1 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 11/20/2014

While driving out to my parent's with my daughters my Jeep just shut down,{stalled} while going 50-55 mph. Lost power steering and brakes, had to shift into neutral and re start. This happened four more times in the next 8. 4 miles. After dropping of my kids my husband followed me to the dealership to drop it off. About 9 miles away, and it shut down 6 more times at various speeds. Dealer does not know what's wrong and is waiting until Monday to get a response from Chrysler head quarters.

2 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 08/09/2013

The contact owns a 2010 Jeep Commander. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle decelerated and proceeded to stall. The failure recurred various times at speeds below 40 mph. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 13v175000 (electrical system , power train) but was advised by the manufacturer that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 87,000.
