general problems of the 2014 Jeep Compass

My safety and the safety of others is at risk due to the primary control module of the abs system malfunctioning. The abs indicator light was on prior to seeking support from an independent service center. The service center's report is below: "abs module internal malfunction: suring diagnostic the tech found the computer system recognized an issue with the abs system. Tech tested the abs module as well as all connecting parts and found that there is currently a failure within the primary control module. ".

I have repeated got my car sent to a repair shop for screeching transmission & brakes. Every time no one can find an issue and the next day the noises will come back again. Recently once again my check engine light turned on. I have constantly stated there is obviously something wrong with the engine or transmission since the first month of buying this car, but no one can find anything so everything is good with the car apparently. Its not safe do something & ive filled a complaint before and gotten no response. Recent incident: the car is currently was stationary when I tried turning on my car and the check engine light came on. The past incidents: I was in motion on a 40mph road and the car completely shuts off. The repair shop took a crank piece out but thats not main problem since 2weeks later my car doesnt want to turn on.

Engine overheating, sliding turns, brakes make noise.

The warning lights on the dash board go on intermittendly for the abs, traction control, and 4wd. When driving the vehicle, the engine will pause a few seconds, warning lights will go on, and vehicle will proceed forward. The most significant instance was when I was turning left into an intersection, the vehicle vibrated for approximately 30 seconds, speed reduced to 2mph, warning ligts for abs, traction control, and 4wd went on, and vehicle proceeded forward. I had vehicle serviced three times for this problem. When the vehicle is connected to the computer to run diagnostics, nothing is indicated. The mechanic changed the wheel bearing 4 times with the hope that would correct the problem. It has not. When driving on a highway, the vehicle seems to shift into this error mode with the pause, abs, traction control, and 4wd lights go on and the vehicle proceeds forward. It does not happen when backing up. I fear this will cause an accident because of the hesitation of the engine when this happens. .

Since I bought this car from the dealer, all the from tires making noises when I press the break to stop, I spoke with the dealer but he don't want to help me out. Also the engine light showing up since I got the car from the dealer, the electrical system too is not working perfectly and the ac system is not too good.

I purchase a 2014 Jeep Compass in 2015. . Has a little over 13,000 miles on it. . I have taken to Jeep dealership 3 time about the brakes. . The first time after I had it,, they kept it for 3 days. . Everytime you step on brakes it made a whistle sound. . With that when you step on the accelerate to do it made a noise also. . . Said they fix. . . So I take it in again the same sound in the brake. . This time they oil it and okay. . . Again I take it in. . This time they said it was comming from back tire area. . But it had something to do with brakes. . They said they was doing me a favor by fixing it. . . Now again something is wrong with my brakes. . I'm am so afraid I am going to get in a accident. Its making the same noise when they kept it for 3 days. . . Please warn other about Jeep Compass brakes. . . Don't know what else to do. . . Took 3 times, no satifaction.

I was slowly pulling into a parking space in front of local pharmacy. As I was about to put the SUV into park the vehicle suddenly accelerated with my foot on the brake and then jumped two curbstones and went across the front entrance to the store and then hit a parked Toyota SUV and pushed the vehicle back four feet and then finally came to a stop.

Squeaky brakes and excelertion problems. When I have a need for speed, the car down shifts and then excelerates is the best description I can give.
