One problem related to hatchback/liftgate lock has been reported for the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving rear door flew open. Door was stuck/closed. Latch had been replaced 3 times because of rusting. Design of the latch allowed water to just sit. Please provide any further information.
