Sun Roof problems of the 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Three problems related to sun roof have been reported for the 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Sun Roof problem

Failure Date: 11/06/2005

1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee moonroof blew off with a gust of wind. The moonroof was closed at the time of the incident. The consumer stated the dealer replaced the track and motor on the moonroof.

2 Sun Roof problem

Failure Date: 03/01/1999

When driving at any speed vehicle wouldn't shift properly from first to second gear, and was shifting very hard. Lock on the driver's side door isn't locking properly. Also, water pump was replaced/ driver's side window motor went out, and there was a leakage in the sun roof which caused water to leak into vehicle on driver's side.

3 Sun Roof problem

The sun roof leaked. Yh.
