Three problems related to tire blowout have been reported for the 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear right tire blew two holes in it and shredded the tread for no apparent reason. (dot number: 102s tiresize: p225/75r15).
Blowouts occurred resulting in tire shreading and falling apart making it impossible to repair tires. This situation occured each time. On the second occasion the blowout caused driver to hit head on steering wheel. All 5 times that the tire or tires blew out they were in pieces. (dot number: m6hh tiresize: p22575r15).
