1 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 07/30/2012

Left rear tire failed and blew out at 70mph. The good thing is the tire deflated rapidly with no loss of control of the vehicle. On inspection of tire it was found that the inner side wall had a rectangular rip/patch from the rim to the tread. There was no debris or other road hazards when the tire failed. All four tires have less than 25000 miles on them.

2 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 11/08/2000

While driving about 70 mph left rear goodyear wrangler st (p22575r16) tire had a blowout, and kept control of vehicle. Drove off road where a technician told consumer that he was driving on low air. 225/75 r16, Jeep, Grand Cherokee, 2000. Dot #m671ekwr.
