Tl- the owns a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the fuel tank detached while the driver was driving. The driver was coated to the side of the road and strap the tank back to the vehicle and drove it to his residence. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for a diagnostic testing of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 213,000. Aw.
The recall number is n74 which was to have the rear of it to be reanforced they tell me this is no longer available and I was driving and the gas tank fell down almost fell off because the gas tank strap broke witch there was only one on it I was going 55 mph for 7 miles.
