Wheel problem #2

While driving on interstate 81, our low tire pressure light came on. About 10 seconds later our rear passenger tire exploded causing our vehicle to jerk to the right and weave back and forth. We were able to pull off of the road and when inspecting the tire, black smoke was rolling from the tire and the tire was in shreds. The wall of the tire completely exploded. The tires were puchased about 1 year ago. They are hankook dynapro a7-m p245/65r17 tires. They are not on the recall list, but should be. We are now scared to drive the car for fear one of the three other hankook tires will explode. We are thankful that we were not involved in a serious accident as our grandson was in his carseat in the backseat of the passenger side.

Wheel problem #3

Corroded or snapped tpms valve cap on all 4 tires.

Wheel problem #4

While driving down the street at 15 mph and the front right tire came off, including the wheel and part of the axle. There was no warning before the accident. The tire hit a car that was empty. The police did not file a report. The owner went to the dealership, and told them about the problem. The dealer had the vehicle towed, and Chrysler was contacted. The Chrysler representative did an inspection. Chrysler sent a letter notifying the owner that there was nothing they could do. Dealership will not even give the owner a loaner vehicle. The problem was not reported to the insurance company. Owner did not feel that insurance company should be contacted since it will cause his insurance to go up. Dealer stated that there was nothing they could do, and they had no idea what could have happened. There were no injuries.
