Tl- takata airbag- the contact owns a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4. The contact stated his air bag light stays illuminated. The contact is refrencing this issue to (NHTSA campaign number: 13v176 components air bags) the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or a mechanic for repairs or diagnosis. The manufacturer was not made aware of this failure. The failure mileage was 117,000 tp.
Every time I move the front seat the air bag light comes on. I have to push the seat back and forth to get it to go off. Or it will stay on. I took it in 8/16/2010 the replace the seat belt buckle this isnot what it was. The air bag light comes on everytime you move thrright front seat. I just hope the air bag does not come out.
Tire gauges broke off / 3 crumbled off the tires and 4th just broke off in the mechanics hand! these broke off between may & Nov 2010. Also air bag side contacts in steering column {air bag light is on} July 2015.
