The air bag warning light came on after we got an oil change for our car.
The air bag light comes on every now and then. It happened in my previous Jeep and is happening in my dad's Chrysler sebring car as well. I seen this problem with the airbag automatic deactivation when the warning light comes on in different vehicles but all from Chrysler motors.
Tipm or front control module shitting off car while driving, turning off airbags and not letting abs system function properly. The engine has shut down several times while I've been driving since I purchased this vehicle recently.
Tl-the contact owns a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that there was a hole and excessive cracks near the center of the steering wheel where the air bag housing was located. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on four separate occasions, however the replacement part was no longer being produced to service the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 54,000. Js.
