My car is keep acting in very weird way,, but last time make me very very fear to drive it. And I face this situation many time this year, the problem is appears few times and I send it for fixing but still no one found the exact reason of the problem, still I am facing this problem every around 3 weeks. But I have only those problems that appears repeatedly and suddenly. Please note this happens only while driving. Please please advice me.

Electronic Stability Control problem #2

While slowing down to make sharp turns the vehicle will spontaneously shut off causing the power steering and breaking to not work. There are no error codes that come up and the radio and air/heat continue to work. The only reason you know the car shut off is because the breaks and power steering won't work. This has happened multiple times but you can never recreate the problem on cue. It just happens randomly without warning. This has happened both coming off the highway ramp around a turn and on a normal back road street going around a turn. The last time this happened was 11-13-2019.

Electronic Stability Control problem #3

Warning lights on dash randomly come on and off. Back hatch randomly opens without activation. Happens when vehicle is stationary and moving.

Electronic Stability Control problem #4

Electrical stability control does not work properly it sways from and rear. Mainly when it rains. Electrical system a problem between signal lights and the radio, when the signals are use the radio goes off??? lift suspension system operate by itself, up and down on his own, and that problem prevents for the SUV to be aligned; also there is a shaking on stearing wheel when above 55mph. I don't know if this unit was taken for service on any other subject like; air bags, stearing components, front suspension or any other campaign of recalls. I'm the third owner and have to find out the hard way. Sincerely (xxxxx) USA. Electronic Stability Control problem #5

Grand cherokee recall Jeep failed to make us aware of an alternator recall. My husband broke down on the side of the road (nearly killed mind you. ) we had our car towed to our mechanic. Mechanic fixed the vehicle, and mentioned to us that the part had actually been recalled, again this was the first that we were made aware of this. We contacted Jeep and put in a claim. Jeep, five months later, told us that we are only eligible for half of what we spent on the repair, because our mechanic was only 1. 6 miles away from a Jeep dealer. Why would I go to a Jeep dealer to pay a premium not knowing the issue was actually because Jeeps neglect to inform us of the recall? half the reimbursement, does not even cover the cost for the tow.

Electronic Stability Control problem #6

Car's tipm has been messing up. They say there hasn't been a recall on my model for that and another says it has been fixed. My car won't start at times, my horn honks at random times and just today my car stalled while on the interstate. I know the tipm had been a problem with these vehicles but I cant get any help with mine without paying out of pocket. I've about had it with my Jeep.

Electronic Stability Control problem #7

While in motion at any rate of speed, vehicle will loose power to accelerate (all internal electronics are still active, however, the vehicle stalls). This has happened multiple times resulting in near crashes due to inability to accelerate to pull over. Fuel pump replaced recently in 2018, including a transmission fluid change. Multiple codes are being thrown which are broad spectrum and unable to be determined. I own this vehicle and require it for work transportation, including the transportation of children. I am terrified that it will happen again and I cannot get over in time to avoid being rear ended or worse. The date selected below is the first time this incident has occurred and continues to happen more than twice a week.

Electronic Stability Control problem #8

I have had multiple lights pop up on my dash, usually after it rains, but once for no reason. I will be driving anywhere from 20-65mph and the lights will just pop up. (abs, brake, and traction control lights) once I turn my Jeep off and back on, it disappears. But when the lights are shown, my Jeep drives a little differently.

Electronic Stability Control problem #9

Tl the contact owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced multiple failures such as the four wheel drive and windshield wipers would activate independently, the traction control and engine light illuminated, and the key fob failed to start the engine. The contact stated that she replaced the vehicle battery herself however, the failures persisted. The vehicle was not taken to a dealership for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 118,000. Li.

Electronic Stability Control problem #10

Every single one of the warning indicators mounted in the dash are going off alternately in rotation, front collision and blind spot warning no longer work either. My vehicle is subject to the following recall, the Jeep, four months after the recall was an ounce, still hasn't supplied the needed replacement alternators specified in the recall: manufacturer recall numbert36 NHTSA recall number17v-435 recall statusrecall incomplete, remedy not yet available.

Electronic Stability Control problem #11

Vechile does not start. Engine stalling and electrical warning light turns on. The vehicle was parked.

Electronic Stability Control problem #12

Car lost all power for steering and braking. Car stalled. Was at low speed 5-8mph turning to the right into a gas station driveway from busy roadway of speeds of 55mph. Car went straight and rolled to a stop. Grateful was parking lot and ditch in front of me and not the gas pumps or another vehicle as I had no control of the car stopping. I have twice had car to dealer for car going into limp mode. Both in year 2016. Same cylanoid each time.

Electronic Stability Control problem #13

Tipm failure with lights not working.

Electronic Stability Control problem #14

I haven't had any trouble with my car. I was going to my dads when a battery light popped up. I was less than mile from his house. When I got to his house I cut the car off so my dad could check under the hood but he didn't see anything wrong with it. When I cranked the car back up my radio was cutting on and off, I cut the air on low and it started blowed heat out the defrost, and the windshield wipers start going off by theirselves. I cut the car off again so it would stop. When I tried to cut the car back on it wouldn't crank. My dad hooked it up to a battery charger because he thought the battery was dead. We got it cranked and left his house to take it straight to the Jeep dealership. We got about a mile down the rode and the lights were flickering, the steerwheel locked up and the car cut off. Under the hood started smoking. We were stranded on the side of the rode with my 4 year old son in the back seat. We had two people stop to try and jump the battery off but it was completely dead. We called a tow trunk and they towed it to there shop. They hooked up to there machines and said it was the alternator. Now I've paid $800 to get the alternator replaced. When the alternator went out it fried my power module control.

Electronic Stability Control problem #15

Alternator / electrical issues- November 4, 2016 my wife was taking our son to school when she began getting a burning smell from under the hood. After dropping off my son, she pulled over and noticed smoke coming from under the hood. She cut the car off, initially thinking it just overheated. We left the car in the school parking lot overnight hoping it would start up the next day. I tried to start the car, but it wouldn't start and the key got stuck in the ignition. After having it towed to a mechanic, we learned that the alternator suddenly failed, draining the battery and causing the engine stall. This is my second time submitting this complaint with no response from your organization.

Electronic Stability Control problem #16

Here are the issues I had with my truck which align with issues noted in recalls; tipm electrical issues in March 2015, the electrical component to the truck key malfunctioned after owning the truck for about 6 months. This malfunction did not allow me to lock the car using the key. I had the key battery replaced thinking that would fix the problem, but the key malfunctioned again one week later. Sun visor and fuel pump recall- December 12, 2015 I had an appointment with keffer Jeep on east independence boulevard to have both recalls looked at. I was told they were both taken care of. After having it towed to a mechanic, we learned that the alternator suddenly failed, draining the battery and causing the engine stall. When I experienced these issues with the truck on 11/4, my mechanic took the truck to state line Jeep in fort mill, SC to get the computer reprogrammed. During that visit, my mechanic was told that the visor recall was still open which makes me wonder if the fuel pump issue was ever properly resolved. There are multiple alternator recalls for this truck, but not one specific to my VIN number.

Electronic Stability Control problem #17

Was driving with my family, battery light came on and car shut off at the light, car started to make a whistling noise before light came on. Restarted car light was no longer on and noise gone. Drove about 5 miles on the highway and all the dash lights came on. Windshield wipers turned on then lost complete power of car. Unable to steer use emergency lights or brakes, luckily was able to coast to a stop and not get hit. Car towed to our mechanic, mechanic said recall due to defective alternator. Had it towed to local dealership sj denham, Chrysler and dealership tells us there is no recall on our car for alternater. 10-12 days to get alternater. Won't provide rental or loaner. Car sits at dealership waiting for alternater. Chrysler said they would assign a case manager and make it upscale case, that they would call us within 48 hours, 2 days later we have not received a call. Dealer is charging our extended warranty for this service and said we have to pay 100. 00 deductible and 40. 00 for the belt that was damaged. They also wanted 50. 00 if we wanted them to locate the alter er within 3 days. We declined paying 50. 00 stating this should be part of their customer service .

Electronic Stability Control problem #20

In Feb 2016 was driving through town and my dashboard and Jeep started acting crazy and it just totally died as I tried pulling into gas station, was now blocking entrance/exit. Totally dead, couldn't put it in neutral and hazards didn't work. Replaced tipm costing me $1300. Then in oct 2016, Jeep dashboard started going crazy again and died as I'm driving and turning in the middle of an intersection! everything dead, no hazards, lights anything and it was pitch black. I was lucky I didn't get hit. Now they said it was battery even though I argued that it wasn't, I said it was the tipm again. They replace battery, but battery light came on right after I left dealer. Then they said it was the alternator. Got it replace but it wasn't the alternator, it was the tipm again! they covered that since I just paid for it in February. Faulty tipm's caused my Jeep to totally die as I'm driving - twice!! if I was on a highway, it would have been horrific. And both times I had my kids in the Jeep with me. Absolutely unacceptable. Never buying a Jeep again. This is so dangerous.

Electronic Stability Control problem #21

Electronic stability control malfunction indicator light randomly goes on and off while vehicle is in operation. Automatic wiper blades randomly activating while vehicle is in operation when no moisture or rain is present. Automatic key-less entry/exit system intermittently fails to work when using door front handle sensors. Dealership has recommended replacement of tipm under extended warranty in effort to resolve issues.

Electronic Stability Control problem #23

I am sitting on 3 recalls on my vehicle list above, brake shield, visor wiring, and now alternator problem. I am not very happy with 3 recalls that they dont have part for, and the dealership can not tell me if and when parts will be in, I am to the point I dont want this vehicle anymore because of these issues. I dont wanna wait till there is a injury or fatality. I want this resolved or vehicle replaced. I am guessing the air bags will be next knowing there is a recall on them on other vehicles.

Electronic Stability Control problem #24

Jeep Grand Cherokee recall - I have had numerous issues with my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, primarily electrical related. My car was making a high pitched sound, it wasn't very loud at first, but progressively got worse. It wouldn't start at first - then had to try to start it a few times before it would start. The electrical system seemed to be malfunctioning worse. I assumed it needed a new battery, so I bought one and the guy at autozone installed it. I drove to my restaurant and it started acting up again (high pitch sound returned, had trouble starting it). As I was driving back home on the road (45 mph) - I saw all electrical workings cut off and back on (the red lighting lights flashed). As I tried to pull over, the entire electrical system failed. My power steering, anti-lock breaks, radio and everything electrical stopped working. I almost got in a wreck but it took every bit of strength I had to stop and steer the vehicle - I turned into a shopping center and steered toward an incline and eventually stopped (almost hit a car, then almost hit an elderly couple pedestrians). I had my car towed to hendrick Chrysler fayetteville, nc. They said the pcm was out. It was still under warranty so they replaced it - but my vehicle has never been properly repaired. My check engine light comes on and off all the time and have had numerous electrical wiring issues (before and after the pcm) was replaced. My vehicle (when the pcm went out) could have easily killed me and anyone on the road at that time. The dealership keeps saying that none of that has anything to do with the check engine light or any of the other recalls - but I cannot accept that. I feel this vehicle - 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee - is an extremely dangerous hazard to all road. I have also had numerous other recalls for this vehicle.
