Fuel Pump problem #2

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that the fuel pump did not pump fuel. The vehicle was restarted a couple of times to get the fuel pump to work. There was no warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to iverson Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram huron (605-352-8686, located at 101 2nd st sw, huron, sd) where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump relay needed to be replaced. The technician also confirmed that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 19v813000 (electrical system), but the part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Fuel Pump problem #3

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving 35 mph, the vehicle stalled. Once restarted, the vehicle functioned normally. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the fuel pump relay needed to be replaced. Tl the contact owns a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving 15 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning and the steering wheel became difficult to steer.
