Defroster/defogger/hvac System problems of the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the infotainment screen would independently perform random features without warning. This defect affect the climate control feature which was also affect the vehicle's defroster. The contact had called a few dealers in his area and was informed that the vehicle was not under recall. The contact also contacted the manufacturer in an attempt to file a complaint but was denied. The contact was also informed that the vehicle would be covered under warranty if he were the original owner; which the contact was not. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
