The battery was replaced; however, soon after the battery replacement, the failure recurred, and the vehicle was taken to a dealer. A diagnostic test was performed, and the contact was informed that the failure was related to the fuel pump or the electrical system. The vehicle was not repaired and remained withthe dealer. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 22v406000 (fuel system, diesel) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
