1 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2020

Purchased new in September. Currently has 2100 miles. Cruise control "sticks" and fails to disengage at the controls. When the accelerate control is depressed and released, the vehicle will continue to accelerate without capping the increase in acceleration until the system is disengaged with the brake pedal. Very dangerous! this scenario occurs both at lower and higher speeds over 55.

2 Cruise Control problem

Failure Date: 03/17/2020

Tl the contact owns a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds with the cruise control activated, the vehicle rapidly accelerated after tapping the plus sign button on the steering wheel without warning. The contact depressed the brake pedal to deactivate the cruise control. Dan welle Chevrolet Buick, Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram located at (1505 main st s, sauk centre, mn 56378) and juettner motors located at (1900 broadway st, alexandria, mn 56308) were contacted and the contact was informed that the cruise control feature operated as intended. The manufacturer was also notified about the failure and referred the contact to the local dealer for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 1,100.
