Failure Date: 12/07/2022

While slowly turning into a parking slot in front of a building, the vehicle surged forward, jumping the curb and striking a metal handrail and the corner of the building. Substantial damage resulted to the front, hood and cooling systems.

2 Warnings problem

Failure Date: 04/12/2021

While I was parking near the beach, the car started accelerating and the breaks became unresponsive. As a result, the car crushed into the water and got submerged. I was able to leave through the window before it got flooded.

3 Warnings problem

Failure Date: 09/15/2015

On September 15–16, 2025, my vehicle was serviced at autonation cdjr north columbus, where the technician documented: “oil filter housing failed internally. ” •no repair, replacement, or warning was provided to me about the risk of catastrophic engine failure. •I was not presented a signed repair decline form. •internal failure was documented but not escalated. On February 13, 2026, the engine failed completely, rendering the vehicle inoperable. The dealership quoted ~$13,094. 83 for engine replacement but did not authorize repair. During this time, oil and coolant leaks were observed, indicating continued mechanical risk and potential safety hazards.
