The vehicle was restarted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel sensor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 33,363.

Gasoline Fuel System problem #2

The contact owns a 2015 Ford edge. The contact stated that upon filling the gas tank and attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle initially failed to start as intended. After finally starting the vehicle, the contact briefly heard an abnormal sound emanating from the rear of the vehicle, but the vehicle returned to normal functionality, with the failure later becoming a regular occurrence.
