Two problems related to air conditioner have been reported for the 1996 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The air conditioning was routed through the middle of the vehicle. This design flaw was described in a TSB. It caused condensation, corrosion and rust. While driving the slushing of the water flowing from side to side under dash can be heard. The unit failed to heat or cool the vehicle.
A/c failed.
