Two problems related to tank assembly have been reported for the 1996 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Gas gauge failed causing it to read inaccurately.
Fuel tank has melted three times . When the fuel goes through the pump it is thick and the vehicle will not start. Dealer has replaced fuel pump three times.
