One problem related to manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe has been reported for the 1997 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The temperature outside changing. The exhaust manifold breaks at the welds where it connects to the exhaust system. I have already fixed this problem once before, and now it has to be fixed again because of carbon monoxide leaking in to the vehicle when windows are up and heater is on.
