Two problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 1999 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Contact stated the driver and passenger's side air bags did not deploy during a collision. There was no prior warning. This vehicle was totaled.
The consumer was involved in a head on collision with a telephone pole when she tried to avoid hitting a deer on the road at 45 mph. The air bags did not deploy upon impact and the seat belt did not hold. The consumer suffered injuries.
