One problem related to front seat power adjust has been reported for the 1999 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
06-10-2008 - the left front bracket of the power seat mechanism to seat frame cracked completely through making the seat wobble badly and the Jeep undriveable. There are 4 rotating brackets at the corners and this is one of them. I was fortunate that when it broke, it didn't cause a crash. As this just happened, it has not been repaired yet. The dealer told me that the repair would probably be replacing the entire seat at $ 1,000. 00. There were no unusual events that led up to this failure.
