Brake Electric Antilock problems of the 2000 Jeep Laredo

Every 10-15,000 miles the brakes in my Jeep grand cherokee 2000 have serious wear which causes them to shake wildly. To date, this has caused no crashes but when I am driving with the brakes like this I worry about what would happen in a sudden stop. I understand that thousands of other owners of Jeep grand cherokees have this problem and worry about all these cars on the road. See related article on class action lawsuit.
