Two problems related to dash wiring have been reported for the 2001 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
From day of purchase, heard loud creaking under the dash. Assumed vents were opening/closing. Eventually cold air began to blow from the right vents. I contacted the dealer and was advised that the blend door actuator probably needed replacing at a cost of $1500. They said bring it on, we have two here now with the same problem.
