One problem related to hydraulic power assist steering system has been reported for the 2001 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I hear a honking noise and feel vibrations when making slow left hand turns (ex. Parking). The slower and tighter the turn, the louder the noise and the more vibration. I brought the vehicle to the dealer at least 4 times for this problem and was told there was nothing they could do about it.
