Two problems related to seats have been reported for the 2002 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2002 Jeep Laredo. While attempting to accelerate from a stop, the driver's seat suddenly snapped and fell backwards. The contact examined the seat and noticed that the frame separated. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The failure occurred without warning. The current and failure mileages were 64,250.
Drivers seat frame has broken 4 times and seat rocks back and forth. I have had the seat replaced 3 times, the last time I was told a new part number would be installed, when I claimed the vehicle, I found the same part number was put in and that one failed. Twice in the past 7 months I requested they order the new part, they agreed and each time I went in to inquire about the status of my request, they said they have no record of my requesting the part. At this time the mileage is now out of warranty.
