Two problems related to service brakes have been reported for the 2003 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The contact owns a 2003 Jeep Laredo. The contact stated that the vehicle did not completely stall but it seemed to almost shut down. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the abs module was defective and the cause of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The current and failure mileages were approximately 96,000.
Consumer states while driving to work this morning she attempted to apply brakes and they would not stop vehicle. She pushed the pedal down to the floor, and the vehicle still did not stop, hitting another vehicle. After hitting the other vehicle she still could not get back wheels to stop spinning, but when she shut the engine off the wheels stopped spinning.
