One problem related to ignition switch has been reported for the 2006 Jeep Laredo. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Similar to recent gm problem, when driving, my knee touches the ignition switch, which then shuts down the engine. This has happened on multiple occasions and I have been able to safely steer the car to the roadside. I am concerned that, if this happens when my wife is driving, she would not have the strength to safely control the car.
