1 Structure problem of the 2000 Jeep Laredo

Failure Date: 08/28/2015

I am very worried about having somebody crash into the rear of my Jeep. The rear bumper is right next to fuel tank. They are going to install trailer hitches ( for added protection ) on some other year Jeeps but not mine !! how can this be fair when they are all built the same way. Please make them fix all of these dangerous autos. Thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

3 Structure problem of the 2000 Jeep Laredo

Failure Date: 05/25/2007

My 2000 Jeep cherokee Laredo has been swapped-it seems to be a simple procedure for ones in my area , the vehicle passes as the one I purchased but several things are different, I would like someone to please look into this matter. I haven't went to the police about this matter, because I need someone with the knowledge and understanding of the specifics in this model/make vehicle to be able to prove what is going on with the Jeeps in my area, I don't want to be driving around in a stolen vehicle that the VIN #s have been change on, this vehicle is not the vehicle I purchased, the man at the dealership even remembers certain things being different than they are now.

4 Structure problem of the 2000 Jeep Laredo

Failure Date: 01/05/2007

Upon general use the plastic pin in the window regulator (driver's side front) broke dropping the window down into the door. I contacted the Chrysler dealer only to be told that they cannot keep these in stock as this is a common occurrence. I was told they will not issue a recall because this is not a safety issue. However, at the time it was 20 degrees below zero and I had a 6 month old baby in the car. I have not fixed it yet as there are so many replacements for this that the one for my vehicle has not been found and the cost is very steep. Chrysler has admitted that this was a poor design and has since been changed. I feel they should fix my car at their expense.

5 Structure problem of the 1997 Jeep Laredo

Failure Date: 11/23/2006

The Jeep was shaking uncontrollable at 45 mph. The chase connected to the track bar mount broke due to metal fatigue. The problem has yet to be fixed. . After talking with a body shop 3/8'' steel plate welded to the chase would fix the problem. Warning it comes from metal fatigue!!!! the main problems seem to be the track bar mount and chase.
