Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2005 Jeep Liberty

While trying to avoid a rear end collision at 30mph steering and break pedal got hard causing rollover where the airbags did not deploy not did the seatbelt restrain.

Air bags did not deploy unpon front impact. We was driving and hit another vehicle.

Vehicle spun out on snowy road and slid off the road at a ~120� angle to direction of travel (left road facing right and backwards) at around 45mph. A car got hit by a semi and spun around on the interstate and heading straight toward me, I stopped but still got hit in the front end on the drivers side (airbag did not deploy) then I was hit by a semi on the back passenger side. This evening, I had a collision with a car that was attempting to cross the highway, but pulled out directly in front of me. I slammed on my brakes, but t-boned the other vehicle. I am very concerned that the airbag did not depoy despite hitting a vehicle that was essentially not even moving. I love my Jeep, but how do I know that my air bag even works? luckily I made it through this accident without severe injuries, but may not be so lucky next time.

My 2005 Jeep Liberty was involved in a rollover accident with 4 fatalities on 9 June 07. The incident took place at highway speed on an interstate highway with no other vehicles involved. The driver and one passenger survived the accident with multiple injuries. The consumer stated the was a nail in the tire that could have caused low tire pressure, contributing to the loss of control of the vehicle which may have resulted in failure of the upper ball joints. A recall was performed on the lower ball joints in may 2007. Updated.

While traveling approx 25 mph, another car approaching took a left in the intersection as we approached and caused a collision. Our car hit head on, their car was hit in passenger front corner. Major damage to both vehicles. Our airbags did not deploy causing head & neck injuries to both driver and passenger. The other vehicle's airbags did deploy with no injuries to driver or passenger.

7/8/05 the consumer was involved in accident while driving down highway 95 going 40 mph, the consumer noticed the car in front was stopped. The consumer slammed on the brakes and was unable to stop and did hit the vehicle in front of her. The air bags did not deploy. The occupants were wearing seat belt. The air bag light was not on to indicate a problem. The only air bag that was turned on was the driver's side air bag. The occupants were injured. Driver had chest pains and had a right ankle sprain. The passenger in another vehicle was injured as well. There is a police report.
