Tl-the contact owns a 2008 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that tpms valves had fractured from the drivers front and rear tires causing the pressure to go low suddenly. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer and they advised him that he needed to replace the valves and that they were aware of the failure. The vehicle was repaired for the valves on the front driver and rear tires. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 26,000. Tb.

3 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem

Failure Date: 04/20/2010

2008 Jeep Liberty. Consumer states tire pressure monitor system is not working correctly. The consumer stated the tire valves failed twice. The first valve was replaced reluctantly and he was told that the second valve would not be replaced under warranty because it was cracked. The consumer stated he was unable to inflate the tire.
