3 Air Bag Light On problem

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2009 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that while turning on the vehicle, the air bag warning indicator illuminated on the vehicles instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis, where it was diagnosed that the drivers side air bag failed and would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
