Was putting after the pump shut off, gas came pouring out of the tank down the side of the Jeep. This is the maybe the sixth time this has happened to me, but looking on the internet this is a very common problem. You would think Jeep would recall.
Every time gas is put into the tank , the gas will be forcibly blown back out of the filler neck and back onto the person holding the gas nozzle!! dozens of cases across the country have the same occurrence. This is a dangerous hazard that the public and Chrysler should be made aware of. Thank you.
The gas tank overflows every time you fill it up with gas. No matter who fills it up or what gas station I go to, when the gas pump shuts off the gas is spilling out of the tank. This is a serious safety hazard. I have had to remove gas from my vehicle and my clothing and body on several occasions.
