The clamps have broken on the driver's side window tract. This is preventing the window to raise or lower. I have to either raise or lower the window by placing my hands on the glass. I have had this problem before in my 2010 Jeep Liberty. I was stationary when this happened after trying to roll my window down.
The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Liberty. The contact noticed that the front driver's side window failed to work without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (redlands Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram, 500 w redlands blvd, redlands, CA 92373) where it was diagnosed that the driver's side window regulator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted at 800-992-1997 and was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not under the warranty and the contact had to pay for the repair. A case number was not provided. The failure mileage was unknown.
The wipers start working by themselves while driving down the road. It is very scary and I am worried what else will go wrong!!! :(.
Faulty tipm, front window washer not functioning, keyless entry issues, engine starting issues, etc.

Starting two years ago, after a rain, when parked, upon locking my car either manually or with the key fob, the alarm goes off, interior lights illuminate and the dash states the gate is ajar. Repeatedly open and close the gate with no remedy. Have to leave car unlocked and usually the interior lights go off after a few hours. Related is the gate occasionally fails to unlock as well as unable to open the rear gate window. And the rear wiper continues to stay on after being turned off. All appear to be related to moisture somehow affecting the lift gate electrical system. Have taken to dealership three times, first two under warranty and dealer advised unable to find problem. Third time after warranty expired, advised they would need to replace seal at cost of $600. Declined repair.
When problem starts wipers go on dash lights come on dash gauges do not work no speedometer ac defroster heater do not work brakes do not work right headlights go out no blinkers no lights on inside of car car says no bus where the gear selecter is dash they have replaced the tpn 3 times and the wiring cluster 4 times they brought in specialist from detroit to work on this car and can not figure out what is making this car do this they keep saying it is the tpn or the wiring cluster after replacing several times it still doing the same things.
The hoses that were attached to the windshield wiper fluid are no longer connected. There are no clamps holding the hoses in place so I am assuming Jeep used some sort of adhesive. The adhesive came undone on both pieces and I can no longer clean my windshield. This is a very dangerous thing because now I can not clean my windshield while driving.
The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Liberty. While driving approximately 55 mph, the instrument panel illuminated and the gauges became inoperative. In addition, the windshield wipers, headlights, and turn signals illuminated intermittently. The dealer diagnosed that the wiring cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 52,000. The VIN was not available.
I bought this vehicle new 3-weeks ago and noticed that the defrosters were not clearing the windshield properly. On 3 separate occasions I attempted to clear my windshield using the defrosters and was left with 8" on each side that was not cleared. This is a dangerous obstruction to visibility. I returned to the dealer and left the vehicle overnight, the dealer was not able to correct the problem and reported that it was operating as per design. I believe this represents a dangerous situation and will likely cause accidents.
The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that the windows would not defrost completely, leaving blind spots at the top and bottom of the front windshield. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis and the contact was told that there was nothing that could be done to correct the issue. The manufacturer was notified and stated that the contact should have tested the safety features out on the vehicle before purchasing. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 5,500.
