One problem related to alternator/generator/regulator has been reported for the 2007 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The day after my Jeep was purchased, it would not start. We brought it back to the dealer and were told it was the ignition switch. There were no problems with the Jeep for about 2 years, but then the car started shutting off while we were driving. It would always a cut back on though. Now it will not start at all. The alternator has been changed and so has the battery, but the car still will not even start with a jump.
