One problem related to brake antilock wheel speed sensor has been reported for the 2007 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The Jeep Patriot has an issue with the abs ecu programing. When the abs wheel speed sensor faults the ecu detects it as a wheel speed change. Activating the abs breaks. Unlike every other car when the sensor is faulting it should just simply turn off the abs system and display a fault code. This is dangerous and almost caused me an accident when the brakes started activating on their own.
