One problem related to fuel pump has been reported for the 2008 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Whenever the vehicle is parked with the front end at even a slight incline it will not start. This occurs whether or not the gas tank is full and it's annoying. I have to shake the car in order to get gas to the fuel pump and get it to start. This has happened since the car was a week old and continues to occur.
