Two problems related to air bag have been reported for the 2009 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Takata recall.
Driving my 09 Jeep Patriot approximately 25mph when another vehicle was in a blind spot and drove into the front right side of my vehicle, pushing the front left side into a wall. The airbags never went off as the car is now totaled. Other drivers airbags went off. I recieved attention at the hospital for whiplash and a concussion from hitting my head off of the a-frame and headrest.
