One problem related to wiring has been reported for the 2012 Jeep Patriot. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Due to the recall on the air bag module the fuse blew out causing the wiring harness to catch fire burning up the whole harness and if replaced the problem will still persist due to no part for the air bag module was driving down the road and have to pull over and call the fire department.
