O2 Sensor problems of the 2017 Jeep Renegade

Tl the contact owns a 2017 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to healey Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, ram (557 NY-52, beacon, NY 12508; (845) 831-1148) and was informed that the oxygen sensor was damaged due to rodents. The part was replaced. The contact stated that after researching the issue, the contact found that it was common for the vehicle to suffer rodent damage due to soy bean oil being included in manufacturing ofthe wiring harness which attracted the rodents. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.
