The contact owns a 2017 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that his wife called aaa service to replace the rear driver’s side tire however, the service tech was unable to remove the lug bolts. The contact stated it took the aaa tech an extended time to remove and replace the rear driver’s side tire. The contact also stated that after replacing all four tires, he noticed all the lug bolts were swollen. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the lug bolts to be replaced. There was no remedy for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.
